Step-By-Step Video Tutorials.
This page will show you step-by-step how to get started selling eBooks on eBay. Most of the tools I use in the following video is free to download and use so there will be no expense. Of course you can use your own tools if you wish but I am doing this with the beginner in mind starting from scratch.
First of all you will need the following:-
1, Domain and Hosting.
This is to store your files and eBooks online. I use 1&1 UK
for most of my websites and you are viewing this page from a 1&1
package. If you don't have any Webspace yet check out 1&1 here:
UK USERS
Buy your domain from 1&1 - Best domain prices in the
UK!
NON UK USERS
Over 5 million Customers Trust 1&1 Web Hosting. Shouldn't you?
2, HTML
Editor.
This is to edit your eBook sales pages. If you have your own
HTML editor that's fine but in this example I am going to use a
program called Microsoft Expression Web and you can download a free
trial from http://www.microsoft.com/expression/
3, FTP Software.
You need FTP (file transfer protocol) software to upload
your files to your Webspace. In this example I am going to use a
program called FileZilla and that can be downloaded free from http://www.download.com
4, Turbo Lister.
This is a program eBay supplies that enables you to upload 100s
of auctions at a time. Again, this is 100% free and can be
downloaded from http://pages.ebay.com/turbo_lister/
5, WinZip.
You probably already have this or something similar to
extract your zip files but if you don't download the latest
version of WinZip from http://www.winzip.com/ and don't worry about the free
trial period. Once it runs out it still works fine.
6, Google AdSense.
This is not essential but if you want to place Google
AdSense ads on your download pages you will need an AdSense
account. Visit www.google.com/adsense for more info.
7, Download Page Template.
Again, this is not essential but I have created a download
template that can be easily edited. Download it here.
